COST Action MP1205: Advances in Optofluidics – Integrating Optical Control and Photonics with Microfluidics
This memorandum of understanding between the parties concerned establishes the terms and objectives of COST Action MP1205. The Action aims to promote collaboration between scientific and industrial entities to develop alternative approaches in optofluidics, by designing multifunctional platforms integrating new photonic elements and optical control, while involving isotropic and anisotropic fluids as well as soft materials. The economic aspect of the Action is estimated at 52 million euros at 2012 prices. The Memorandum of Understanding will enter into force once accepted by at least five parties and will remain in force for a period of 4 years, unless modified in accordance with the provisions of the document of rules and procedures for the implementation of COST Actions.
