Optical sensing in microfluidic environments
We are developing methods of non-invasive optical sensing of critical parameters in microfluidic environments for culturing of live cells. We have developed a method of direct real-time pH measurement within a microfluidic culture chamber and wish to extend this methodology to different types of optical sensing, including fluorescence and Raman spectroscopy for chemical analysis.
