Integrated optofluidic devices for single cell manipulation, analysis and sorting
In recent years an impelling demand has arisen for the development of miniaturized devices for trapping and manipulation of single cells. Such device can be combined with microfluidic circuits that are becoming increasingly important for chemical, biochemical and biological analysis, as they allow reproducing complex phenomena on a micro- or sub-micro scale.
In the frame of this project we will develop new devices for single cell manipulation, analysis and sorting based on integrated optic components.
