Research Topics: Designing and characterizing the rare earth doped organic crystals with the use of the optical spectroscopy methods/their applications in optoelectronic devices.

Expertise: Investigation of the materials/systems with the up-converted luminescence which originates from the transitions between the energy levels of co-doped rare earth ions.

Investigation of the functional materials/NLO crystals doped with rare earth ions/with laser effect and the non-linear optical phenomena, which can generate the selected wavelengths in NIR and/or VIS spectral range.

Techniques Available: Optical spectroscopy methods: absorption in UV/VIS/NIR spectral range, Stokes and anti-Stokes emission and micro-Raman spectrosopy.

Request Expertise: Preparing/investigation of the optical properties of some new composite systems formed by the introduction of the rare earth doped micro- and nanocrystalline powders into the liquid crystals matrix.
